The hand picking and weighing of damascena rose blossoms in Isparta, Turkey.
All roses petals are picked between dawn and 11am for peak essential oil content.
Rose harvest lasts for about 2-3 weeks in late May-early June.
It takes 2 metric tons of these handpicked rose petals to make 1 kilo of rose otto oil!
